A joint initiative of the Rural Doctors Network NSW and General Practice Casualty, Balmain Hospital (Sydney South West Area Health Service) will fund urban GPs to upskill for Rural and Remote GP locums. Funds are available for:
Emergency Life Support Course (ELS) A weekend course to be held at Balmain Hospital along with Supervised GP clinical sessions. In return for: 4 weeks paid work in rural NSW over two years Increased confidence and clinical skills Career variety.
