Your Mental Health & Alcohol - Managing the Mix Comorbidity Project
A partnership between Central Sydney & Canterbury Division of General Practice and the Sydney South West Area Health Service - Mental Health & Drug Health Services. Funded by in-kind contributions by the Alcohol Education and Rehabilitation Foundation and the Australian Government Departments of Health and Ageing and Veterans’ Affairs. This project builds on the existing interest and capacity of GPs and other health providers to respond to co morbid affective and substance use issues within the existing population of Sydney's inner west.
- GP Training: for the early and accurate identification of patients who present with co-morbid alcohol misuse, anxiety and/or depression through the use of effective screening tools and brief interventions in the primary care setting.
